Dayton Daily l Northrop Grumman gets contract to support NASIC operations

The Air Force awarded Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp. an $11 million contract to support operations of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

Northrop’s Fairborn office is to operate and maintain databases, tools, web-based products and related systems for the intelligence center, located on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. NASIC assesses intelligence information from various sources to produce reports for top U.S. military and civilian government officials.

The contract work is to be completed March 11, 2013. The Air Force Research Laboratory awarded the contract.
